Project For Sale New Southwestern style
The colors in these earrings are Southwestern casual, but the chandelier style and gold chain fancy them up. I started with the carnelian ovals, which don't have drilled holes. Wrapping chain around the ovals let me turn them into great earrings.

Project For Sale String the sunny side of autumn
I first started thinking about the combination of pink and orange when I saw Sasha Obama's charming inauguration coat and scarf in January. Orange came to mind again when it was the hot color at the Tucson gem shows in February. Naturally, I had to get some for the magazine. For this
multitextured multistrand necklace, I added some olive green nuggets to temper the sweetness with a bit of sophistication.

I've also included a class handout with basic step-by-step photos and instructions.
